Week 23 - Fight or Flight - Magical Mondays





Hello, my name is Kimmie Kay; I’m a Personal Holistic Healing Counselor/Coach. 
Healing: let me clarify, I cannot heal anyone, nor do I make any claims to have healed anyone.  The title simply is a guide to explain what I am—I am a holistic healer who guides the human race to a better place.
Guidance is done through meditation, prayer, journeying, intuition, and other spiritual means.

Magical Mondays
This is a 52 week journey, using a standard deck of cards (go to www.KimmieKay.com to read about the deck of cards).  We are on Week 21.  I’d like you all to congratulate yourselves for being here, for taking the time for YOU.  Just 30 minutes to improve your life a little at a time each week.  Grateful for you all!

Begin:
March 5, 2018

Please give Neal a warm welcome as he is our co-host tonight.  I am on an airplane! I’m on a flight to Denver, Colorado to go meet clients and my flight has been delayed. 

Today is an awesome day (as they all are) and today is my 5th day of journeying with Jake Ducey and doing his hypnosis.  So far it’s working out well- I am recording it on Facebook at Kimmie Kay Consulting ( https://www.facebook.com/Kimmie-Kay-Consulting-180488152708894/ ) and read what I’ve already written for the first 4 days. I will update it every evening before I go to sleep.
It’s very raw, it’s very personal, it scares me to death.  But it’s just the next big step to getting what I would like to do in life and get my dreams answered. My prayers answered.  Taking this bold step I realized that one thing with Magical Mondays is that I really don’t accomplish anything unless I’m held accountable.  I am the type of person that needs to be held accountable, so posting what I’m posting for the next 90 days every single day is going to be a challenge and something that if I don’t do I’ll probably being sitting in the same space a year from now when it comes to New Year’s resolutions.  And I’m not willing to do that.
I want to help people.  I want to help you.  I want to help others.
I am so grateful and thankful that I have someone like Neal that can step in and be the co-host.
The card to carry with you with week is the Jack of Diamonds, Week 23, and letter on the back is “F”

“F” Fight or Flight

I think that when we think of Jacks is kind of like that gesture and the funny person, and the game of jacks with the little rubber ball.  When I think of the Jack of Diamonds I think glittery.  And F – last time we did F we did the four quadrants and that was very good and it was very powerful.  But I think today, this card came up on top in honor of Flight.  Flight also goes with Fight.  Many times in life we are in Fight or Flight mode. We’re stressed out, trying to get to work on time, trying to beat traffic, just stressed out in general.  A lot of times in life it is just Fight or Flight.

And right now as I sit here waiting for my Flight, my stomach is Fighting handing this over to a co-host.  Like he said in a text earlier, it is my baby, it is something that I started but I also feel very confident in Neal.   He’s been here on every single call and I trust him with my baby 100%.

Fight or flight still plays a part of this because I’m only a human being. And when we fight what is happening it usually makes it worse.  Which is probably why my stomach is doing its thing because I’m not just relaxing and staying curious to the possibilities of what is happening.
I’m fighting what is going on. So I’m going to take a deep breath and I’m not going to fight it anymore.

In fact, let’s go ahead and do our breathing exercise.

Breathing Exercise before lesson (this method is the fastest way to become calm and centered):  IN for count of 7, HOLD for count of 7, OUT for count of 7, HOLD for count of 7. Repeat 3 x’s

So relaxed right now, feel so much better.  

There’s a mantra that I started for the month of March and it’s to help get you out of Fight or Flight mood.  When you find yourself in Fight or Flight, when your anxiety starts to rise, when your stomach gets tight, and butterflies enter into your world. 

The mantra is “I breath in Peace, I breath out Fear.  Wonderful things are coming to me.  It is so.”   

If there is a way you can do that 108 times each day I believe all of us might be able to get rid of fight and flight.  It’s really been helping me – I wrote it on my bathroom mirror before I left town and I recommend that you write it on your bathroom mirror.   Or maybe post it on your refrigerator, whatever works.  Post it next to your Jack of Diamonds tonight.
I’m excited to hear what Neal has to say and how everything goes. Thank you, thank you Neal for being here – appreciate it.  Appreciate the time and I appreciate you keeping Magical Mondays at the same time and same bat channel.
